Boot Scramble

There’s a little something for everyone at the rodeo. You might think that kids get excited enough just seeing horses, but we take things one step further for our smallest fans: All kids age 5 to 10 are invited into the arena for a game and grouped into one of three age divisions.

The little competitors then take off their boots in the middle of the dirt arena and run back in their socks to a designated area at the other end. After everyone is lined up, the race starts. Kids race back to the pile of boots and dig around to find theirs.

The first ones who make it back to the finish line wearing their own boots in each age group wins. And what’s the prize? A new bike!

The Boot Scramble happens on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. It’s a real hoot! Come see for yourself.
