Buck Jackson Arena
Our historic arena is used annually for the legendary West of the Pecos Rodeo, but it also can be used year-round for a variety of entertainment events.
Rental of the arena includes use of ticket boxes, concession stands, the announcer booth, audience stands and heated bathrooms. Each concession stand has running water, electricity, a working sink and is equipped with both a microwave and fridge. Lights and electricity are on site, but events must provide their own audio/visual systems.
Reeves County Civic Center
The Reeves County Civic Center has recently undergone a $4.2 million renovation, which secures Pecos as a place of interest for concerts and other events.
The civic center houses a dance hall that can be used for banquets, quinceaneras, trade shows and other events. A concession stand is available with windows that serve both the dance hall and the Buck Jackson Arena.
Adjacent to the dance hall is the outdoor pavilion that is covered to provide protection from weather. Opposite of the dance hall is the conference room. This room can be split into four separate rooms or opened up for one grand room. A kitchen with stove, fridge, sink, steam table and a serving window is also available, and it opens up into the lobby and the conference rooms.
Each area of the Reeves County Civic Center is available to rent separately, in any combination or as a whole. It's a great place to hold a variety of functions, whether small or large. Contact Pecos Area Chamber of Commerce at 432.445.2406 for additional details.
