How much are rodeo tickets?

Prices vary by performance, from $9–$15. For specific information, click on “tickets” at the top of any page.

Do children need a ticket to attend rodeo events?

Yes, although small children who will be sitting in an adult's lap are free. Tickets for children 12 and younger are available at a reduced cost.

What events are offered during rodeo performances?

Each of the 9 PRCA-sanctioned rodeo events offers two sections of bull riding and one section of bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and women’s barrel racing.

How long does a rodeo performance last?

Typically a rodeo performance lasts between two and two-and-a-half hours. Please remember, though, this is subject to change based on variables such as the number of re-rides.

When do tickets go on sale?

Online tickets go on sale by the first week in May. Locally, tickets can be purchased at the Pecos Chamber of Commerce beginning June 1st. Each evening during the rodeo, the ticket office at the Buck Jackson Arena will be open for on-site ticket purchases. 

How much is parking?

There is no charge for parking at Buck Jackson Arena.
